Maria Brink

 Maria Brink, born December 18th, 1977 is an American singer-songwriter from the United States. She is best known for being the frontwoman of In This Moment. The band released seven studio albums and earned four nominations from Alternative Press Music Awards. In addition, Brink was named "Rock Goddess of the Year" as well as "Hottest Chick" in Metal in the fifth (2013) and fifth (2015) Annual Loudwire Music Awards. Brink is one of 11 women in heavy rock who matter to Yell! Revolver Magazine named Brink one of the "25 most hot girls in Hard Rock & Metal" in 2012. In 2002, she was 25 years old, she relocated to Los Angeles to find a group to work with. Prior to having a band, Brink worked in stores, and performed in coffee shops and bars. In an audition, she was introduced to Chris Howorth in 2004. Howorth was initially hesitant to employ Brink as a singer because she was an asian woman. Howorth apologized to Brink and hired her to sing for her just two weeks later. They formed the group Dying Star with drummer Jeff Fabb .They were later joined by guitarist Blake Bunzel and bassist Josh Newell. They were soon renamed In This Moment.
