
Beverly Lumbres Caimen (born June 20, 1994 ([1]), known mononymously as Beverly is a Filipino pop singer from Japan under the Avex Trax label. She is well-known for her numerous appearances on soundtracks, like "Be the one" in Kamen Rider Build and "Koko" in Pokemon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle. Beverly Caimen, the third of three children born to Ramon Vega Caimen, Leticia Valdez Lumbres, and Leticia Caimen, was born the 20th of June, 1994 in Calamba (Laguna, Philippines). She was the youngest of three siblings, with a brother and two sisters. Beverly started singing at the age of five years old. Her mother would take her to school, and discovered that Beverly had a talent for singing. She joined her school's chorus at the age of seven and began voice lessons when she was 9 when her mother found time. At this point, she entered her first singing contest. It didn't go as well. Even so, her mother advised her to keep going since she needed to get more experience. She graduated from Batangas State University with a B.S. in Psychology. Beverly began singing in amateur competitions to pursue her dream. She won first place in the World Championships of Performing Arts. There she recorded songs under GMA Records, and collaborated with Vehnee Saturno. Then she released Beverly Caimen, her first and sole album on GMA. Beverly was awarded an award for Best Performance from Awit Awards and won the Harvest of Honors award from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts and the award for Best Performance from the A Song of Praise Music Festival Year 3.
