Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington (Greek American) is a Greek American writer, syndicated-columnist and businesswoman. She is a founder of The Huffington Post and the chief executive officer of Thrive Global. Author of fifteen books. Arianna Huffington has worked as a journalist, TV personality writer, philanthropist, and philanthropist for more than 10 years. She also is the owner of The Huffington Post, an independent, liberal online newsmagazine. Following her move from Greece to England from Greece at the age of 16 and obtaining an MA in Economics at Cambridge University. The first non-English student to graduate, she was elected President of The Cambridge Union' at age 21. Being a conservative syndicated blog following her graduation, she was able to be a voice of the Huffington Post. The fame of Arianna helped to attract several prominent contributors to share their opinions on the news political, culture and politics. Arianna's fame began in 2003, when she became an independent candidate for the California recall vote to replace the then governor Davis. Aside from that, Arianna led a Detroit campaign to encourage fuel-efficient automobiles. In 2009 she was named by Forbes as The most influential women in media gaining 12th position in the listing and the following year the Guardian included her in the top 100 media list. AOL acquired The Huffington Post from AOL in 2011. Then she was appointed the President of the AOL media group. The group included several AOL-owned properties, such as Engadget AOL Style List and Patch Media. Their parents are Elli and Konstantinos Stasinopoulos, an expert in management and a journalist. Although she had a close relationship to her father, her connection to her mom was the defining factor in the course of her entire life. Even during her formative years, she exhibited the qualities of a leader for which are still prominently known. When she was sixteen, she left the United States to the United Kingdom and enrolled Girton College Cambridge. As a student, she joined Cambridge Union's colleges debating societies, which she later became the first foreign female president. The year 1972 was the year her master's in Economics was awarded. In the years following her degree she worked as a journalist-critic and a host on TV. In addition, she appeared alongside Bernard Levin in an episode of Face the music and started writing books using his editorial assistance.
