Sara Lynn Evans is the seventh oldest child and was born in a rural area near New Franklin in Missouri. When she was five, music had become the mainstay of her life. As a sixteen-year-old She worked for two years at the nightclub in Columbia Missouri. Sara relocated from Missouri to Nashville Tennessee in 1991 with aspirations of becoming a singer-songwriter. Sara was seen singing Tiger By the Tail by Harlan Howard at County Q Studios. Harlan Howard then decided Sara would sing his song. She signed a contract with RCA. Evans released Three Chords and the Truth, her debut album in 1997. Critics recognized that the album was one of many in their top ten albums for 1997. Unfortunately, at the time the album was not a hit with traditional radio. None of the 3 singles even made the top-40. Lorraine Bracco.....................
